Grebb to lead team covering media, communications, and entertainment/streaming
GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO – Jan. 5, 2022 – One Touch Intelligence has tapped veteran journalist and business strategist Michael Grebb to manage OTI’s coverage of video, telecommunications, broadband and entertainment/streaming space. He will head up a team of analysts and data scientists tasked with compiling data-driven intelligence on the digital media economy and will oversee special reports, client presentations, custom research and business development affecting multiple sectors. Grebb will work out of Los Angeles and report to OTI Chief Operating Officer Austin Mowry.
Until departing in 2020, Grebb spent 14 years at leading industry trade publication Cablefax as Executive Editor and later Publisher overseeing editorial, brand strategy and business development. Most recently, Grebb was VP, Editorial and Brand Strategy for website Ranker, whose more than 1 billion online votes yield psychographic correlation data used by key industries.

At Cablefax, Grebb oversaw a daily news publication, special-issue magazines, several awards programs, more than a dozen partnerships with industry organizations and multiple events including conferences and webinars. Over the years, he has moderated numerous industry panels and conducted on-stage interviews with executives and talent ranging from NCTA President & CEO Michael Powell to Altice CEO Dexter Goei to actors such as Jon Hamm and Lea Thompson. Grebb also oversaw the Cablefax Leaders Retreat, which brought together top cable, broadband and entertainment executives for periodic off-the-record discussions of key industry challenges and opportunities.

Grebb has a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Ohio University and in 2017 completed the Leadership Strategies Course at the Yale School of Management. Grebb currently serves as a member of the Cable Center’s Ambassadors Council.
